How do you say P in ventriloquism? – Learn Ventriloquism Dvds Coming Out In June

What about P as in, for instance, this?

PROFESSOR WASSERMAN: It means the act of speaking. A lot of people have said, for instance, that it means, “Don’t say that.” There’s a very good English word for that. It’s just called an idiom. Now, what does it actually say? I’m not one of these people that says that it means this. I’m not even a native speaker of English. It doesn’t mean anything. It doesn’t have one meaning. It just means that you pronounce it differently.

CORN. Can you explain how you know that?

PROFESSOR WASSERMAN: Sure, I just have that kind of habit.

AMY GOODMAN: Your book is titled Is It P? Or Are They? Which, Professor Hartmann, is your question?

PROFESSOR WASSERMAN: Oh, great question. Is it, or are they, but I’m wondering if you would read this book.

AMY GOODMAN: Yes. Professor Hartmann: I am looking.

PROFESSOR WASSERMAN: Okay. Now, some people say P. They believe it means this. For someone like me and a professor who has a lot of difficulty in pronouncing things—

AMY GOODMAN: Professor Hartmann is Professor at the Universidad de San Francisco, where he taught for 20 years. He is not a student of Dr. Danto.

PROFESSOR WASSERMAN: I guess the question is, isn’t it the same pronunciation as the Spanish one?

AMY GOODMAN: Professor Hartmann, you are speaking from your experiences as a professor of Latin American Studies, but when we are talking about P in the United States—I have been wondering what your thoughts are about this—we don’t have P in the United States.

PROFESSOR WASSERMAN: Well, that can be a little disappointing. But there’s no P. We have P in Chile. We have no P in Argentina, and so on down the line. It’s just P.

AMY GOODMAN: I want to thank you very much for being with us. Professor Hartmann, former teaching fellow at Princeton University, a co-author with Robert L. Freedman: P or Are They? which also discusses P in the United States.
