Can you be a pilot in Alaska?
Citizen’s United: We’ve got big problems here in the U.S. That’s what I wanted to be a part of. This is a place where you don’t know what your rights are, where nobody will defend them in court. But when people are in public debates and they say, “I’ll pass any law that’s for my own good,” everybody says, “We’ll come for you, we will defend you, we will protect you.”
If I would want to help the homeless, to take their food, their shelter, I’d go take that stuff to the dumpster. You can’t sell it at an auction.
If somebody came to me and said, “I’m going to make a living walking dogs” — I could probably make it and I would be happy doing it — but what about the guys who make $50,000 a year, who have three jobs and take home all this money and you can’t just pull that money out. You’ve got to get a job.
No government can really make a living off its citizens. But that’s what we’re asking for. Can you get a job and be a productive member of society?
My biggest dream in life is to live on a ranch with my wife and kids, and let the land be my own.
I’ll be the first to admit that my life has been incredibly different since graduating high school in 1996. It’s changed quite a bit in those eight years, and it has been a journey of a couple of years to navigate it all and figure out what it means to be an adult.
When I was a junior in high school, I was incredibly involved in sports. Although I never played a varsity sport, I was quite skilled in tennis, which I enjoyed a bit. Once I got my diploma, I got into the college sport of Cross Country, and I thought I was on my way to an athletic career. I finished the semester, and the following fall I competed in some cross country meets. In the first meet, my team won the first half of the race, but was only allowed to collect 13 points in the last three miles. The coach of the other team, who was also the athlete coordinator, told me off if I continued to make mistakes and was not careful in the last miles. He said if I didn’t get a “C” in the meet, I would
