Does Rover pay well? – Pet Business Insurance Providers Ukiah

The good news is, the pay is great for most drivers. A Rover spokesman confirmed that most of the company’s drivers are employed by its U.S.-based subsidiary, Rover Maintenance Services, and those who are not are employed by the company’s Australian operation.

Rover Maintenance Services employs approximately 2,000 drivers worldwide and is primarily responsible for servicing and maintaining the company’s fleet of more than 50,000 vehicles.

While the company declined to disclose the overall pay for its drivers, the spokesman said some are being offered a base pay of $25,000, while others are being offered more generous allowances, such as the one for an assistant, which pays almost $30,000 a year.

There’s a lot of talk about the pay gap, but the reality is that it’s not as wide as people think. A typical U.S. employee would be paid about $22,400 per year, but only $22,900 per year in Canada.
