We’re not talking about a bunch of rich guys like us. We’re talking about your average family man or woman. The folks behind these companies are usually good parents who take it from a young age to give back with a big smile and a big hug. It all comes down to one simple reason.
They have passion.
We’ve all heard of the famous businessman from our childhood, or of the entrepreneur who grew tired of seeing their dreams go up in smoke and decided to jump headlong into something new. They knew that it wasn’t going to be easy, but they just knew how important it was.
Well, there is somebody who isn’t like that. They know what they want for their family, and they’re able to make that dream a reality every time something they’ve dreamed comes together.
One of those people is my friend, Mike, the current CEO of Capital One. His father started a family business. His son decided to follow in his footsteps. It was a natural progression, and the two men’s passion for investing was born. Today, you can find them in the offices of Capital One offering us all some tips along the way to financial freedom.
“What people don’t know can hurt them. If you don’t listen to that inner voice, it will get the best of you. And you get what you deserve.” — Mike
That voice I speak of? It’s always inside you because you’re the product of a loving family.
So while you may not be the boss of the financial future, you’re the boss of the future of your family.
It’s time to build that bond and open it up wider.
